I studied visual arts as well as art history at Northern Illinois University. At NIU, I received an MA in Art History, was a University Fellow and taught 19th and 20th century art history for two years. Afterwards, I worked as an arts reviewer for the Chicago based New Art Examiner and as a research editor on "Who's Who in Contemporary Design" published by St. Martin's Press.

My post graduate education includes the study of painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and, the study of photography at Chicago's Columbia College.

With the advent of Photoshop, I began a career as a freelance photo illustrator and designer. Lehman Brothers, Grubb & Ellis and Argonne National Laboratory were among my clients.

In the Chicago area I have shown my art work at the Noyes Cultural Center, the Hyde Park Art Center, the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago, and Gallery 312.

I currently live in Colorado where I work as an art photographer and painter.
